The USDA hardly does the job regulating the quality of beef in this country and now horses are being raised for meat. No one has begun to decide whether to even regulate horsemeat. That's just the nuts and bolts here of what you are putting in your mouth.
What about horses. They shaped the development of this country, were workers, pets, transportation and more and now it's okay to eat them?
