Stop the injuries and killing caused by road rage. Please save the life of us all.
Why is this important?
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), road rage is defined as "an assault with a motor vehicle or other dangerous weapon by the operator or passenger(s) of another motor vehicle or an assault precipitated by an incident that occurred on a roadway." Road rage requires willful and wanton disregard for the safety of others.
According to American Automobile Association (AAA), 1,500 men, women and children are injured or killed yearly and constantly increasing by 7%.
-My daughter, Diyamond, age 20, was killed on the highway going west bound on I96 due to road rage. She like many others are now part of that statistic.
-Jeremy Bushen, age 22, was killed on the same highway (east bound -I96).
-Stevie Beal, at 17, was left paralyze from the waist down.
-Braylon Nelson, age 2, was left paralyze.
-Billy Fleenor, father of four, was killed
And many more.......
Our legislator, local, state and federal political officials, have the chance to send a strong zero tolerate message of this behavior through legislator's Road Rage Laws... The time is now to assist in saving lives.
