HSHS Sr Mural Past, Present, and Future

At Holly Springs High School, a tradition going back since 2020 is in jeopardy of ending.
When you walk down the halls of HSHS you see amazing artistic murals, done completely by Ms.Favreau, completely free and on her own time. Every year, she comes up with a new theme that encompasses that year's seniors. She donates her own time to paint our high school's walls with purple, gold, black, and an image that is suppose to last through the years. All the seniors of that year go and sign their name to the wall around the painting. Every year the parents and students look forward to this - to see their name on the wall before they leave the school that helped shape them, before they move on to the next adventure in their lives. A few of those names are all we have left of them, as they have passed - like Robbie Russo. Many of those names have gone on to big things. Some have moved, and some are still here and they come back for sports games and see their names on the walls with their year's painting and it brings back something for them. This is a tradition, a legacy about alumni.
Let's make sure administration knows we want this tradition to continue. We want our kids to have their senior murals and they get to have their names on the walls were they spent so much of their time growing up.
Please sign and share.

Why is this important?

This is about tradition - about alumni. It's art, its color and means something to so many. Do we want white concrete walls? No, we want memories, we want color, we want art, and we want these murals we have had for so many years with our kids' names signed!
