HYUNDAI MUST FIX ELANTRA N ISSUES AND BUGS
The Elantra N has become a beloved car by motorsport and car enthusiasts for its excellence in driving performance, its stock on track capabilities, and it's affordable price point. However there have been notable and serious quality of life issues that the community has noticed and not been able to find solutions to. The three most pertinent are:
- Limit power with octane learning with no clear way to consistently octane learn the car.
- Steering wheel buttons that lose their programming at random.
- Issues with bluelink connectivity.
The Hyundai enthusiast community proposes that the following actions be taken by Hyundai leadership starting with CEO of North America, Mr. Randy Parker:
- Provide an update that allows the car to permanently run with 91 or high octane fuel
- Provide an update to retain user maps on steering wheels for drive modes
- Provide an update to create stability between the Bluelink app and the car
Why is this important?
We believe these issues hold the car back from being the best it can be. We believe that we paid for features we cannot consistently use. We believe these problems are addressable and fixable with collaboration between Hyundai and the Hyundai enthusiast community. This petition serves as an open letter and call to Hyundai leadership to acknowledge these issues exist and work with their customers to make the Elantra N the car it deserves to be so that the community can confidently recommend the car to other enthusiasts and live happily with the features we invested in.
