Change can only be accomplished with critical mass. As an initial goal, let's gather 100,000 signatures on a petition that simply states: "I will not support any politician who votes against gun control measures that will end the scourge of gun violence in the United States."
Why is this important?
The United States is the only "civilized" country in the world where 30+ deaths a day due to gun violence is tolerated, in the name of democracy, or freedom, or a delusional sense of protection from some phantom government conspiracy. The time for such tolerance has passed. We need to act. Peacefully, but with great determination.
