Please stop the deportation of our friend and community member, LESBIA GONZALEZ CONTRERAS A#200-223-292. In a recent memo ICE indicated that parents of U.S. born minors should not be deported. We ask that you implement this policy change and let Lesbia stay with her 4 year old son & 4 month old daughter who need her. Lesbia is a loving mother, an integral part of the Falls Church community, & has no criminal record. Lesbia has lived in the United States since August 25, 2005. In 2013 Lesbia was stopped by a Virginia police officer and sent to ICE even though Lesbia had no criminal activity.

We ask you to close Lesbia's case before January 16th, 2014. Anthony & Melanie need their mother to stay in their country. Lesbia is very involved in her community, since arriving in this country Lesbia has better her life & the life of her children.

Lesbia is originally from Guatemala a violence ravage country. Lesbia fled Guatemala for her own safety and to give her future children a better life. Lesbia is a good mother, a good American, and her children need her here. How can a 4 year-old and a 4-month live without their mother.

Thank you for your attention and we hope that you make the right decision.

Sincerely,
[Your name]

Why is this important?

Lesbia will separated from his 4-year-old son Anthony, & 4-month-old daughter Melanie, on January 16th, 2014 if the community doesn’t stop her deportation!

Lesbia is a loving mother of a Anthony & Melanie both who are U.S. Citizen. Lesbia has lived in the Virginia since 2005. Lesbia has worked really hard all of these years to provide for her children, to see them go to school. Lesbia's dream is to see his son & daughter go to college.

In 2013, on a workday, Lesbia was heading to work when she was pulled over in Virginia. Lesbia had a driver license from Maryland, a neighboring state, but the Virginia police officer did not consider it to be valid. Lesbia was taken to ICE where Lesbia was put in Deportation Proceedings. Lesbia does not have a criminal record. Please keep Lesbia with her son Anthony & daughter Melanie.
