Repealing the ACA will leave millions of Americans without any form of health insurance. Members of Congress enjoy generous health care benefits paid for by the taxpayers. If Congress repeals but doesn't immediately replace a form of the ACA, they shall lose their healthcare benefits until a replacement is passed.
Why is this important?
Everyone needs healthcare insurance. We all pay for the uninsured. Without protection from the ACA, millions will lose their benefits. As a person with disabilities and a former nurse, I've seen first hand how everyone benefits from access to preventive and comprehensive healthcare.
