God is quoted on the first page of the Bible as having said,
“Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed...and every green herb”
Drugs don't make seeds. Herbs do. There’s a legal indistinction between drugs and herbs that is “void for vagueness.” It threatens everyone's freedom to farm any herb by imposing unlawful jurisdiction over the most valuable one.
Why is this important?
Religious freedom and due process of law are the cornerstones of American tradition, ideals, law and governance. Both are being violated in the indefinite, coercive imprisonment without trial, bail or visitors of Reverend Roger Christie. Every day that Roger remains imprisoned is an insult to the sacrifices made for our freedom to farm "every herb bearing seed" and the fundamental human right to trial before punishment.
