We've recently heard from folks in Iowa who can't believe that Rep. Steve King is doubling down on a comment he made in May comparing immigrants to dogs, saying that it was actually a compliment. They aren't buying it, and want him to issue an immediate apology for his unacceptable comments.
It sounds like MoveOn members would be interested in signing a petition about this issue.
Why is this important?
Rep Steve King compared immigrants to dogs and said that they should have taken that as a compliment. I am not okay with this. People are people no matter skin color or anything else. He should apologize!! NO EXCUSE
