IMPEACH GROVER NORQUIST

We need to stand against the tyranny of the right. We will only have ourselves to blame if we don’t. We can start by taking issue with the Grover Norquist agreement signers and making it clear that we intend to pursue a civil remedy to recover the cost of the economic effect of their refusal to abide by the terms of the constitution they swore to uphold. By agreeing to not raise taxes under any condition, they have restricted their capacity to perform an obligation required by the Constitution. The Constitution directs the Congress to maintain the ability to tax as an option for raising federal revenue. Therefore we need to sue for Breach of Contract due to failure to perform under terms provided by the Constitution. Consequently, we should proceed first with impeachment proceedings through the Department of Justice or individual civil suits if it's determined that DOJ has no jurisdiction over the issue. We need to send a clear message to all Norquist participants that we have endured enough of their foolishness and we will no longer tolerate holding the American economy hostage for political gain and power. Our remedy should be that the signers resign immediately and return the salary they earned after signing the agreement.
