Impeach Justice Clarence Thomas

Article 3, Section 1 of the Constitution refers to the Judiciary. In part it states, "The Judges, both of the supreme and inferior Courts, shall hold their Offices during good Behavior".

Federal judges abide by the Code of Conduct for United States Judges, a set of ethical principles and guidelines adopted by the Judicial Conference of the United States. The Code of Conduct provides guidance for judges on issues of judicial integrity and independence, judicial diligence and impartiality, permissible extra-judicial activities, and the avoidance of impropriety or even its appearance.

The CODE OF CONDUCT FOR UNITED STATES JUDGES:

CANON 2: A JUDGE SHOULD AVOID IMPROPRIETY AND THE APPEARANCE OF IMPROPRIETY IN ALL ACTIVITIES

An appearance of impropriety occurs when reasonable minds, with knowledge of all the relevant circumstances disclosed by a reasonable inquiry, would conclude that the judge’s honesty, integrity, impartiality, temperament, or fitness to serve as a judge is impaired.

CANON 5: A JUDGE SHOULD REFRAIN FROM POLITICAL ACTIVITY

(A) General Prohibitions. A judge should not:
(2)make speeches for a political organization or candidate, or publicly endorse or oppose a candidate for public office; or

(3) solicit funds for, pay an assessment to, or make a contribution to a political organization or candidate, or attend or purchase a ticket for a dinner or other event sponsored by a political organization or candidate.

A violation of any Judicial Canon in the Judicial Code of Conduct would be considered a violation of the requirement for judicial "good Behavior" and qualify a judge for impeachment.

By his willful actions, Justice Clarence Thomas has violated his Oath of Office and the Judicial Code of Conduct Canons 2 and 5.

Justice Clarence Thomas must be impeached and removed from office.
