Impeach the Supreme Court
Justices are appointed for life which perpetuates the problem we have in the Supreme Court today.
We need to amend the structure of the Court to reflect the interests of the majority and not the 1%.
Impeach the entire Court and elect judges for alternating rotating periods not to exceed eight years.
Candidates should have two weeks to campaign (not accepting funding other than from the Federal Government), and a guarantee of equal media exposure.
All candidates should received equal funding.
The elections should coincide with Presidential elections.
Why is this important?
The Supreme Court is composed of a majority of right wing Bush appointees. For the most part, their rulings have reflected the opinions of this majority.
They are appointed for life and this perpetuates the problem.
