Healthcare....Even though I am now receiving Medicare, I'm still unable to pay the "Prepay" when I go to the doctor. Of course, my expenses far exceed my SSI. If I go for assistance, I don't qualify because of the way you have it set up, my income is too high.
Why is this important?
We who have worked hard all our lives, are given a very small percentage of our SSI upon retirement. It's not enough for us to live off on a monthly basis, especially when most of us have medical bills.
