California has one the highest Costs of Living and yet our minimum wage leaves many hardworking Californians in poverty! Don't let Special Interest Groups and Big Business continue to abuse Californians, insist on a living wage.
Why is this important?
The petition is about minimum wage. When I was young I lived on minimum wage and had many disadvantages, little food, not much leftover for entertainment, like movies, or for clothing and household supplies. I depended on Public Transportation in an area with very poor service, leaving me with extensive wait time. This was not an easy way to live.
