Increasing Minimum Wage
I support the Catching Up to 1968 Act that will raise the minimum wage to $10/hour. This act will help Americans across party lines to become more self sufficient. I urge you to vote for this act.
Why is this important?
Democrats in the House have proposed raising minimum wage to $10 and hour. Raising minimum wage will allow large numbers of people, particularly women and minorities, to better support themselves and their families. We all know that America tends to look down on individuals who are not completely self sufficient, but also creates systems that make it impossible for people to meet that goal. Raising minimum wage will allow countless people more dignity and respect, as well as breathing room in their budgets.
