To: The United States House of Representatives and The United States Senate

Inform your constituents

I urge you to inform your constituents about your thinking on important issues and pending legislation. We are tired of you hiding behind office flunkies who take our comments but won't tell us how you intend to vote.

Why is this important?

Hawaii senators and representatives have their office staff tell callers that they don't know how their bosses are going to vote or what their thinking is on an issue. They've been doing this for years. You can leave any comment you want, but you can't find out how they intend to vote. So you can't put pressure on them or criticize them until it's too late. All reps should post their positions/intentions on their web sites and make it available via email.
