It is required by law for manufacturers of food products to label them with all the ingredients. Why is this not required for alcoholic beverages? I want to know if a beer brewer put milk in my beer to balance out the acidity levels at the end of the process but they are not required to do so even though many suffer from severe allergies to dairy and other things. This needs to change.
Why is this important?
I have severe allergies to many things and since manufacturers of alcoholic beverages aren't required by law to list the ingredients of the contents people like me suffer and can get very sick from unknown ingredients.
