Repeal the recent law that allows American citizens to be held in military detention, without trial or due course of law.
Why is this important?
Have the recently passed legislation allowing American citizens to be held by the military, without trial in indefinite detention, overturned. It is blatantly unconstitutional. I am appalled that President Obama signed into law this bill which removes American's rights to a speedy trial and the concept of
being innocent until proven quilty. Losing basic rights in the name of security is beginning to turn us into a police state.
