Why is this important?
Part of the gun safety legislation has to be the requirement that gun owners carry Liability Insurance.
Simple statistics, the more guns being carried on the street the higher the chances are that you or a loved one is going to be shot, even by accident. Own owners need to be responsible and carry liability insurance. Car owners need to have insurance and it is not violating the second amendment, it is a sensible part of new gun safety legislation.
