The following headline recently appeared in the magazine, The Nation: "Mitch McConnell’s Freighted Ties to a Shadowy Shipping Company."[1]
I have yet to see anything about this story in any Kentucky-based or other nationally based news outlet. Much of McConnell's own personal wealth--which he's used to finance his political campaigns--derives from his father-in-law's company, which is now under scrutiny after one of its ships was found with 40 kg, or 88 pounds, of cocaine smuggled aboard. Please investigate this story and report it to the people of Kentucky before the election. Kentuckians deserve to know about this BEFORE they vote.
