The actions of these legislators (as well as others in the Republican party) indicate that they are complicit in protecting Donald J. Trump, President of the United States from revelations of his selling or exchanging the favors of his office to foreign powers.
Why is this important?
These 3 legislators are trying to interfere with the Mueller investigation. This would be disastrous for the country and the people of the United States. Their actions arouse suspicion that they have joined with Donald Trump to defy the will of the People and deprive us of knowing what happened in the 2016 election. A lot of evidence of a wide variety of irregularities and probably crimes have been covered up by these three legislators. These acts threaten the very fabric of our democracy and the investigation must be allowed to proceed until every rock has been turned over to discover who has done what and how our system of governance has been degraded and bought.
