Investigate Sallie Mae

The current attitude of the Banking Industry and private finance corporations involved in disbursing and lending huge sums of monies to students in need at exorbitant and absurdly high interest rates and threats to their future credit standing and abilities is not only unfair, it is unethical and immoral. To penalize people whose aim in life is to better themselves and fulfill their hopes for future careers has no place in the current economic crises. Growing unemployment prospects and the inability to secure jobs commensurate to career goals set by future professionals not only insults the intelligence of those students, but continues to threaten their ability to find meaningful employment due to poor credit which many corporations use as a criteria to rule them out in securing employment. This double standard of discouragement and threat amounts to intimidation and if not stopped will ultimately cripple the entire Nation. WE the PEOPLE believe that this debt in Toto should be forgiven and all future lending practices be strictly governed by rules which forbid the use of threat either implied or stated by those lending bodies; especially Sallie Mae whose history and record indicates it is the least reputable and reliable lending source for any and all Student Loans!
