Investigate Trump’s Personal Pentagon Slush Fund!
The company run by a major Republican party donor, Tommy Fisher of Fisher Sand and Gravel, was recently awarded a $400 million contract to build a span of new ‘border wall’ in Arizona, even though officials said its bid didn’t meet standards. President Trump personally lobbied on Fisher's behalf, in — yet again — an abuse of the president’s office for a calculated partisan purpose. We urge you to investigate.
Why is this important?
A major donor to the Republican party was just awarded a $400 million contract to build part of Trump’s racist, dangerous, ego-driven border wall — even though the Army Corps of Engineers had said the bid didn’t meet their standards!
So why did they get the contract? Because Trump personally and repeatedly lobbied the Pentagon on their behalf — conduct so unusual for a procurement process that it alarmed military commanders.
We have to call this what it is: abuse of the president’s office for a calculated partisan purpose. Sound familiar? That’s because the impeachment inquiry has made the same determination on Trump’s actions with Ukraine!! This cannot continue. We must DEMAND Congress investigate Trump’s continued abuse of power immediately!
