Investigation into Russian interference
I am asking you, Senator _________________ to sign on to the bilateral resolution made by Senators McCain, Schumer, Reed, and Graham, to conduct a thorough investigation of the conclusion reached by the CIA and intelligence community that Russia interfered with the 2016 election process in order to influence the vote for one candidate (Mr. Trump) over the other (Secretary Clinton). In addition, I ask that the Congress delay the date of the Electoral College vote until that investigation has been completed.
This is not only a bipartisan issue; it is one that will impact our capacity to govern as a nation from here forward if we do not act and act decisively.

Why is this important?
I am starting this petition because I think it has some chance of creating a climate for bipartisan discussion and a way for the situation in which the country finds itself to be resolved so that all are served.
