Iowa’s laws on reptiles NEED TO BE CHANGED

A picture of my savannah monitor that is a staple of my collection
Hello, my name is Chris Crisman. The reptile laws need to be changed immediately to keep up with the times and market. People who live in iowa do not have access to the reptiles that people have in Texas, Florida, Alabama, and Wisconsin, just to name a few. We, the reptile community, should get access all monitors, beaded lizards/gila monsters, dwarf caiman, and reticulated pythons just to name a few available to the reptile people.

Why is this important?

Giving people access to all of these different diverse animals can create opportunities for more people to open shops, have petting zoos, and to bring more education around these animals to school/university's. I have a Savannah Monitor that’s an amazing character of the species and that can be shown more to people who don’t know about them if we got the laws changed.
