Issue a ban on assault-style weapons in New Jersey
Assault-style weapons are the choice weapon of mass shooters as they have little recoil and are easy for those who shouldn't have them to fire, so they should be restricted.
Why is this important?
Assault rifles are weapons that have a potential to be deadly, and while they are expensive, they are the choice weapon of mass shooters as they do not have much recoil, making them easy for somebody under the age of 18 to fire. The purpose of this petition is to keep assault rifles out of the hands of people who should not have them, and prevent a shooting incident in New Jersey.
