Why is this important?
After meeting with Dow Chemical, Trump's EPA turned its back on our children and reversed its decision to ban the dangerous pesticide, chlorpyrifos. This chemical has been linked to nervous system damage, autism, ADHD and lower IQ in young kids.
More than 1 million pounds of this poison is applied to crops in California every year, so a CA ban would send a strong message to the rest of the country. Jerry Brown has the chance to lead where Trump has failed. We need him to know the health of our children comes before Dow's profits.
