Senator Jim DeMint: Please apologize now for the unjust characterization of Chicago teachers as acting like "thugs in the Middle East". These teachers are patriots in the truest sense, standing up for their rights to fair pay and decent working conditions. You should be proud of them for their courage and dedication. South Carolina can do better.
Why is this important?
Senator Jim DeMint of my home state of SC seems to think that hard working teachers in Chicago are acting like "thugs in the Middle East" when they stand up for their rights. As one of his constituents, I demand he apologize to the people who dedicate themselves to educating the next generation of Americans.
