To: Jim Graham, DC Council Member, Ward 1
Jim Graham: Resign
Mr. Graham, resign. Your four terms on DC Council have been filled with corruption and misdeeds. Ward 1 residents need real leadership, and the time has come for you to step down.
Why is this important?
DC residents deserve better from our elected officials than the misconduct of Jim Graham.
Investigation after investigation has concluded that his behavior with the lottery contract was unethical, and yet he refuses to take responsibility for his actions. How many more tax dollars must be wasted investigating his misdeeds?
We agree with the Washington Post editorial calling on Graham to resign. Despite once again escaping sanctions, "What he can’t escape is that his actions have again been found indefensible."
Graham's misdeeds distract from the work of improving our neighborhoods for all Ward 1 and DC residents.
Resign, Mr. Graham.
