To: The Joe Rogan Podcast

Joe Rogan: Please invite Hermela Aregawi to discuss how CNN's war on Ethiopia is unjustified.

Julian Assange once gave a speech saying that war is generally based on lies, and journalists who knowingly spread the lies to fan the flames of war are complicit in it's destructiveness. We can look to the Vietnam, Iraq, and Libya conflicts to see that being the case.

For over a year now, there has been a civil war raging in Ethiopia. The narrative from CNN, and other mainstream news outlets, has been very one-sided in favor of the anti-government Tigrayan-led forces. But there are always at least two sides to every story. Hermela Aregawi is a principled journalist who raised some very good questions regarding the reporting on Ethiopia. She is ethnic Tigrayan and a no-nonsense reporter looking to disseminate the falsehood in the MSM narrative, while providing her followers with reliable information.

Joe Rogan has a very successful podcast. He has called out the media for lying the American public into conflicts. He has seen how countries like Libya and Syria have been impacted by interventionalist regime change policies. We feel that he can give Hermela time to make her case and challenge her where needed. It would be an honest conversation worth hearing. It may also save Ethiopia from ending up in as dire a situation as some of those other war-torn places.

Why is this important?

We need to hold the mainstream media outlets accountable for how they report. We need to ensure that aid agencies are helping the people they purport to be helping. We need to ensure that the sovereignty of developing nations isn't constantly under threat by larger ones. Having Hermela talk with Joe would be a good step in that direction.
