Former Congressman Joe Walsh sent out a tweet on July 7th, 2016 stating the shooting of Dallas policemen that night was "now war. Watch out Obama. Watch out black lives matter punks [sic]. Real America is coming after you." If any other private citizen had sent out such a tweet, he would be arrested for incitement to violence or at least questioned by the Secret Service. Joe Walsh should receive the same treatment.
Why is this important?
Joe Walsh has long been an embarrassment to myself and other citizens of the state of Illinois, but this time his rhetoric has turned violent, and he should suffer the consequences of it, even if it simply means he should be questioned by the Secret Service, as anyone making even veiled threats against the President would be.
