Justice for Calvon Reid

Florida's Attorney General Pam Bondi must seek justice in the homicide of Calvon Reid, an unarmed man who died after being repeatedly tased by Coconut Creek police. The Broward County medical examiner ruled the death a homicide in May 2015 yet no action has been taken by Attorney General Bondi.

Why is this important?

Calvon Reid was an unarmed man experiencing agitation and distress and in need of medical attention in February 2015. Police called to the scene tased Mr. Reid repeatedly; he died two days later. The Broward County medical examiner ruled the death a homicide in May 2015 yet the Attorney General's office states the case is still "under review."
