To have private schools such as Newman to change their policies on letting people dye their hair

Why is this important?

My best friend attends Newman School in Boston MA. She was very excited to dye THE TIPS of her hair blue because she loves the color and it's therapeutic. Newman won't let her. I know dying my hair is therapeutic and is a way for me to express myself. If kids are forced to wear uniforms there should not be rules against other self expression.
