On January 11, 2000, my son's (Zy'Keithean Bridgers) health began to fail at Pitt Memorial hospital and my concerns were disregarded, leading to his death on January 12, 2000. For sixteen years this particular hospital has been trying to cover it up and I've been met with so much resistance in getting justice. Under the statute of repose law, because I was a minor when I gave birth, I still have grounds to pursue this case, but for reasons that we all know, no one wants to get in the fight against this hospital. My human, as well as civil rights, were violated, resulting in the death of my only child. This is the reason for my starting a petition.
Why is this important?
I'm starting this petition because for sixteen years I've been pursuing justice myself, contacting everyone from the President, lawyers, to house representatives without justice or help, and time is running out. Also, because my voice is trying to be silenced. I'm trying to let the American people know just how far corruption goes, and that you have a be a certain kind of person to receive justice.
