Should law enforcement personnel be:
1. allowed to get a no knock search warrant for someone's house off a supposed anonymous tip without any verification or investigation of the anonymous tip? The tip need not be factual just anonymous and here they come.
2. allowed to search your home without presenting a warrant prior to searching? We were informed that they were not required to present a warrant until they had completed their search.
3. allowed to interrogate a child of 11 years of age without the parents' permission or even parents presence during the interrogation? They forced the child out of the living room with his parents into another room to do the interogation. My understanding is that minors are supposed to be protected from this type of behavior. Supposably in La. - A parent or guardian is allowed to be present during the questioning of a minor if the minor's rights have not been waived.

4. allowed to seize property without leaving a receipt for the property. No receipt was left for any property at all. No receipt no proof it was taken off your property so you are unable to get the private property returned.

Art. 166. Receipt for seized property
When a peace officer seizes property under a warrant he shall give a receipt to the person from whom the property is taken, describing the property in detail. In the absence of such person, the peace officer shall leave the receipt in the place where the property was seized.

5. allowed to administer object lessons such as slamming/ramming/pile-driving their knees into a person's back and ribs while said person is face down on the floor as they finally identify themselves as law enforcement personnel: the object lesson resulted in at least 1 broken rib or at least that is what the hospital said. Total injuries were a scalp wound to the back of the head (I think from pistol butt), broke nose, and broken ribs, and pinched nerve. I filed a complaint with internal affairs on this but they said they had to have the doctors report before they would investigate and to get the records cost money I do not have. They charged me with assault on a police officer and resisiting arrest. Had they been in uniform, identifying them as law enforcement would have been easier instead of as being armed intruders in my mothers house. We are supposed to be able to protect our homes and family and ourselves in our home.
6. allowed to be insulting and rude, called my niece a drug head, my cousin a smart ass, and so forth. They were rude and insulting to my mother and she is pissed about all of this mess, after all it was her door they busted/broke in. They destroy private property and have no responsiblity to repair or replace the property.
7. allowed to endanger someones life by preventing then from getting access to their oxygen. My stepfather has COPD and is on pure oxygen and they would not allow him into the house to get his oxygen but then had they investigated as they claim they would have been aware of this fact. But then had they investigated they would have known who lived in the house and who each person was. As for my stepfather they could have easily escorted him into the house to get his oxygen tank.
8. Thus far I am told we have no legal recourse to seek JUSTICE! or redress.

Why is this important?

I am seeking some Justice in a system that does not even have any idea on how to even spell the word. I was in my bedroom minding my own business only to be assaulted in my place of residence. The lawyers say the law enforcement personnel can do anything they please and destroy your property and home and the system has no liability whatsoever. They government can destroy your life like they have done mine. I used to work as a computer tech but the way the system is set up. Once you are arrested with anything not charged, I mean anything. It goes on your background check...no conviction required and you find yourself unemployable. I have lost my security clearance which I have had a top secret, secret, and confidental levels for over 20 years. I no longer can pass a background check with this mess and can not have it expunged as the charges are classed as felonies and can be held in limbo meaning not charged (arraigned) for 4 years as a lawyer I spoke to has told me which means I will be unemployable for that long or longer. I am very long term unemployed due to the legal system so I can not pay my bills which means I can not pass a credit check now. I am also disabled (bad back and hearing impaired) which limits the types of work available to me. In my line of work passing a background check, drug screen, credit check and having a security clearance are the norm and been no issue for over 20 years for me. Now what do I do, I need employment so I need to be employable?
