To: Kris Kobach, Secretary of State
Kansans to Kobach: "Step Down!"
Secretary Kobach,
Since taking office you have demonstrated a greater commitment to your personal politics than to your service to your constituency. This displacement of priorities has resulted in your repeated failure to fulfill the duties required by your position. It has also linked our state with your radical political assertions, which often have nothing to do with your role as Kansas’s chief elections official and have brought our state great embarrassment and shame. Because of this, the people of Kansas call on you to resign from your position as Secretary of State immediately.
Kansans can no longer tolerate paying you an annual salary of $86,000 while you put your personal political interests over your duties to the taxpayers of this state. Your anti-democratic, nativist agenda does not reflect the values of the people in this state and we will no longer subsidize it. We are calling on you to vacate your position immediately to make way for someone who is not burdened with the baggage you bring to the office of Secretary of State.

Why is this important?
Secretary of State Kobach, your time is up! You have neglected our elections, made voting more difficult, and have embarrassed Kansans with your radical agenda. Enough! We call on you to resign immediately!
