We citizens of Central would like the City Council to continue discussions on the proposed Baton Rouge Loop project. We ask that our councilmen table the resolution until the final loop corridor has been selected and the details are finalized. We understand that current laws prescribe that the loop can not be built in our city without our permission. Furthermore we request that our councilmen become intimately involved on this project as it is the biggest potential roadway investment in our City. We expect a completely informed city council to make the best decision for all of Central when the time comes.
Why is this important?
This online petition will presented to the council on Tuesday January 10, 2012 asking that they leave the table open for more loop discussion. We are asking that they DO NOT vote down the loop resolution. By signing this document you are not stating that you are for or against the loop; you are simply stating that it needs to be left on the table for more discussion until all details have been presented to us for consideration. Please pass this link around and ask everyone for their signature. Once again by signing this document you ARE NOT saying you are for or against the loop project! Thanks for any help you can give me!
