Please take every opportunity (legislation, speeches) to affirm the protections that the Separation clause affords all of us, believers and nonbelievers alike, and the important role it plays in maintaining a free and democratic republic that is not subject to majority rule.
Why is this important?
The separation clause is misunderstood by a lot of Christians who think their rights to believe and pray are threatened. They also think that our U.S. Constitution was founded primarily on biblical principles, when in fact, their bible was only one of many sources used as a foundation on which to build our great nation.
