We need signatures to show the faculty of CCNY that we want to keep the classical curriculum. The proposed plan for the new curriculum includes cutting essential theory courses as well as keyboard courses and replacing it with a "pop foundation".
Why is this important?
We need to keep the foundations of music in our school. This has an impact on everyone, especially those who are in the classical BFA.
