Darren Mackie has been at Aberdeen Football Club for 14 years, and has been a faithful servant to the cause for all of that time. His work ethic on the pitch is unrivalled, his loyalty to the club is unwavering and his attitude is an inspiration to the rest of the team. He has scored some of Aberdeen's most important goals over the past decade and is more than just a player at the club, he is an icon.

If you think that Craig Brown should reconsider his recent contract decisions and award Darren Mackie with a new deal then please take just a second out of your time to sign this petition, it would be much appreciated, every signature can make a difference.

Surely it is only fair to let him end his career on his own terms? After such loyalty it is not right to treat him this way.
Just one or two more years is all we are asking for, so that he can finish his playing days at the club he loves.
