We the people of California respectfully request that you demand the US Navy immediately cease its plans to locate some of its drones in our state, now and forever.
Why is this important?
The US Navy recently revealed plans to station four drones at its Naval Base in Point Mugu, west of Malibu. Drone strikes have killed scores of civilians in foreign countries sparking widespread anger at the United States by those affected as well as responsible people all around the world. I certainly don't want some based 30 miles from where I live. 700 jobs, most of which will be transferred in from elsewhere, can never be worth my peace of mind.
