Join our movement to keep guns out of Missouri's schools. I support overturning legislation allowing teachers to carry weapons within school buildings. Repeal the current law (which was vetoed by governor) at the beginning of this legislative session. I am telling my elected official "Keep Guns out of Missouri Schools."
Why is this important?
As parents, educators and citizens concerned about violence in schools we demand repeal of the recently approved law allowing teachers to carry weapons in schools. Teachers should teach. Fully funding the school foundation formula, universal Pre-K and full-service, community based schools should be a higher priority than arming teachers.
