KEEP GUSTAVO HOME! HELP STOP HIS DEPORTATION!

Victory! The creator of this petition declared the campaign a success. You can still sign the petition to show support.

I am writing to urge you to support Gustavo Dodier's (A# 205-210-661) request for a continuance at his court hearing on January 15, 2014, so that he can complete the petition process with his husband, Hector Aponte. Gustavo is married to a U.S. citizen and provides critical support to his mother, who is in remission from breast cancer. Gustavo has a clear pathway to relief that would result in his being able to change his immigration status.

Why is this important?

KEEP GUSTAVO HOME! HELP STOP HIS DEPORTATION!

On November 19th 2012, Gustavo Dodier was driving home when he was pulled over for not using his headlights. Gustavo was then arrested for drinking and driving. He is now facing imminent deportation on January 15th 2014.

Gustavo has lived in the US for almost 10 years and has never been arrested or charged with any crime before this incident. He has dedicated himself to improving his life by working, going to school, learning English, supporting his Mother and Father, and being a committed partner to Hector.

Gustavo is committed to building his life and family here in the United States. On October 23rd 2013 Gustavo married Hector, his partner of almost two years. Because Hector is a citizen, Hector has filed an I-130 petition so that they will be allowed to stay in the US and build a family.

Gustavo has a clear pathway to relief that would result in his being able to change his immigration status.

Help Gustavo stay in the US by making a phone call and signing the petition!
