Jose Perez is the father of 4 children; three of which are U.S. citizens. He does not have a criminal record and was arrested when the police mistook him for an alleged suspect. Though cleared of all wrongdoing, he still faces deportation.
Jose is a responsible person who pays his taxes and has maintained the same job for the past 7 years. He volunteers at his church and is an active member of the community group Familias Unidas.
