Kepp Chicago city clinics open
People in Chicago can either go to private physicians and pay highly for health care or go to one of several city-run clinics and pay a nominal fee (I pay $115 four times annuallly). They will no longer have this option, and highly-skilled employees will not be transferred to other facilities.
Why is this important?
Employees, including medical staff, have built up a tremendous amount of experience, and now they are to be let go just because Mayor Emanuel thinks he can save city budget money.
