Governor Parnell is in charge of the State of Alaska Fish and Game department, should he remove and replace the current State of Alaska Department of Fishery's salmon managers?
Why is this important?
Our Alaskan King Salmon spawing return has been on a steady decline for the last 25 years. STATEWIDE our State of Alaska Dept of Fishery Managers allowed this to happen. They have managed for this decline by managing for sockeye salmon returns and ignoring the by-catch of king salmon. To stop the failure, Alaska needs NEW managers on the Dept of Fish!
