Kraft Foods: Stop adding trans-fats to your products!

Kraft Foods: It's time to acknowledge the health risks associated with trans-fats and high-fructose corn syrup and to immediately take steps to produce food products without these unhealthy additives.

Why is this important?

In spite of near universal agreement that trans-fats and high-fructose corn syrup are unhealthy additives to food, Kraft Foods continues to produce food products containing these ingredients.
Although many of us are aware of the unhealthy aspects of trans-fats and high-fructose corn syrup and avoid foods that contain them, a large number of consumers, unfortunately, are less savvy about nutrition and tend to assume that the food they buy, especially from brand name companies, is healthy. Consequently, it should be the responsibility of all food producing companies to provide the healthiest foods possible so that all food consumers will benefit.
