Fracking as practiced is known to inject chemicals into the earth that can contaminate aquifers and water supplies. Lets stop it before it irretrievably damages California's aquifers for a few barrels of oil or cubic ft of natural gas. The price is too steep.
Why is this important?
The California legislature will soon vote to ban fracking and we need them to act on behalf of all who don't wish to have our aquifers and environment damaged.
