State employees were not given the choice to opt out of paying into the retirement system when deductions were taken from our bi-monthly paychecks, therefore how is it OK for the State Legislature to just not pay the state's matching amount year after year until we are now in financial trouble. We the people of this state elected you to do a job and represent us but we have been double-crossed year after year when it was time to honor our agreement with the retirement program and do your job.
