Lake Clifton/Reach Stadium Construction

After the 2024 season the Lake Clifton/ Reach football program will no longer be allowed to play at the old run-down stadium on St. Lo Drive. Construction of a new stadium was supposed to be completed with the renovation of the new school. The funding for the new stadium was previously budgeted within the renovation cost of the new building. However, the lack of communication between Baltimore City Public School System and Baltimore City Parks & Rec has prolonged the stadiums construction. The Lake Clifton Alumni, and surrounding community demands for Baltimore City Public School System and Baltimore City Parks & Rec to come to a conclusion on completion of the approved stadium construction.

Why is this important?

By signing this petition, we want the officials of Baltimore City Public School System and Baltimore City Parks & Rec to know that they should begin the construction of the new stadium. Lake Clifton/Reach student athletes should not be without the bare necessities, when its offered on other high schools in close proximity and across the country. Why should the children suffer due to the bureaucracy between the Baltimore City Public School System and Baltimore City Parks & Rec?

How it will be delivered

We will be delivering this petition at the meeting on Wednesday February 22, 2023, at 5:30pm in the cafeteria of Lake/Reach Partnership High school with councilwoman Odette Ramos to hear the most current update.
